Vippie for IPhone ver 7 now on the Appstore

The new release of the IPhone sip client is now available on the Appstore. If you would like to test it please download for free and then contact us to receive a test account. This version supports sending and receiving SMS among users and to and from external GSM phones as well.

The application can be found on the Appstore under Vippie name.

Recording functionality has been added to the latest release of the Vippie for IPhone/IPad SIP client

You can record any parts of your active calls simply by tapping the record icon. It will start recording, next tap and the recording stops, if you want to start recording conversation again during the call tap the record icon again. When you want to listen to the recorded messages go to Recent calls menu where you can see all calls with associated recordings marked with the “speaker” icon. Click on it to see the audio player’s controls which allow you to hear the message, switch to loudspeaker and use a seek/progress bar.

In our latest release of the Vippie for IPhone a new feature is available which allows for selling services through Itunes. It enables users to create a new account in just one click. The application will ask for the account details such as username and password and the initial payment or to select a service plan. After submitting the user is prompted for his/her Itunes account’s password. The payment is taken directly from the Itunes account. Instantly after the payment is processed the new account is created and the softphone is ready to use. This is very convenient and secure way of making payment for services as it does need any credit card information to be entered by the user.

The Vippie application also allows for topping-up the account by a selected amount

The policy has changed and now Voipswitch customers can download the softphone wich support in addition to WIFI, 3G and Edge data connection. Download and test our new version of Vippie softphone.
